Mossley Parish Fun Day

On 22nd August, Mossley Parish put on a “Fun Day” for families in the community from 2-4pm.Puppet Company

After a welcome and some songs everyone was entertained by the Puppet team from Magheralin Parish who put on a fantastic show. This was followed by hotdogs and refreshments.

During the second part of the programme, there was a range of workshops to participate in, including a drumming workshop using African drums, crafts, face painting, tattoos, a nail bar and a bouncy castle. Everyone enjoyed the day so much that the finish time stretched to 5pm when the remaining people queuing had to be told time was up!

Inflatable fun!Organizer Maureen Steenson and her team were really delighted with how the day worked out. She said “Many thanks to the Puppet Team from everyone at Mossley. Over 65 children attended our Family Fun Day along with their parents and friends making it a great success.”

The Magheralin Puppet team is led by Alan and Sharon Waters who have a real passion for this ministry to children. As well as performing with their puppets, they offer training to churches who would like to develop their own Puppet Ministry. Rev. Neil Cutcliffe enjoyes the day!
